Storm Policy

In the case a Tropical Storm warning or Hurricane watch or warning is issued in our area, these are my procedures:

If you are away during hurricane season, please have a written plan made for your pets and your home, which includes the name & phone number of person securing and/or shuttering your home and/or name and phone number of person(s) with pre-arranged reservations for dogs (or other pets you choose not to leave alone).

An attempt will be made to contact you. Your immediate return home will be the best possible situation for the health and safety of your pet.

If coming home is absolutely impossible, I will implement your plan for home and pets. I will be unavailable due to caring for my pets and home.

Pets such as cats, birds, horses, etc that can be safely left alone will be feed and watered as close to the impending storm as is safe for me. I will return as soon as authorities deem road travel safe again.

Your pets’ safety is my only concern!!!!!
